Health Team Director David Fukuzawa Joins Panel Discussion on “Healthy People, Healthy Places;” Web Seminar To Air May 25.

David D. Fukuzawa, director of The Kresge Foundation’s Health Program, will join a panel of health and policy experts for a discussion of “Successful Partnerships: Strategies for Multi-field and Cross-sector Collaborations,” the second in a series of Web seminars sponsored by the Convergence Partnership. The seminar will air on Tuesday, May 25, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
The Convergence Partnership is a collaboration of funders, including Kresge, that was formed in 2006 to create the Healthy Eating Active Living Convergence Partnership, with the shared goal of changing policies and environments to better achieve the vision of healthy people living in healthy places. The Web seminar series is titled, “Healthy People, Healthy Places.”

The first Web seminar in the series, “Utilizing Environmental and Policy Change Strategies,” aired on April 27. Subsequent seminars are scheduled for June 29, July 27 and Sept. 21.
